Gasoline is cheap again, and high-riding, truck-based SUVs are making a resurgence. The latest in the large SUV revival is the 2017 Nissan Armada. With its big V8 engine, truck frame and boxy body, it’s here to do battle against boring, car-based crossover SUVs.
At the Chicago Auto Show Tuesday evening, Nissan pulled the covers off the latest version of its full-size Armada SUV. If the “fleet of warships” name didn’t give you enough of a hint, it brings a bit of attitude to the line of full-size family hauling trucks.
