Aside from range anxiety, remembering to plug your car in might be the worst part of EV ownership. Thankfully, that might soon be a concern of the past for the Model S thanks to Plugless, an aftermarket wireless EV charger company.
Plugless is now taking $244 refundable deposits for its wireless Model S charging system, which it plans to produce in Spring 2016. If you put a deposit down now, it locks you into a price of $2,440, which the deposit is applied to at time of full purchase. However, if you don’t put down a deposit now, you won’t be guaranteed the $2,440 price. A Plugless representative told Mashable the “MSRP will be more than that.” Read more…
