LAS VEGAS — Until this moment, BMW has been the only carmaker with production-ready gesture controls. However, Volkswagen just got into the touch-free game with the debut of its new 9.2-inch infotainment system — complete with gesture controls — here at the 2016 International CES.
The system that will be pushed into the German automaker’s new cars over the next few years debuts inside the e-Golf Touch here at CES. The new screen features interactive tiles that can be configured in 10 different ways. And the personalized settings are saved in the cloud and easily accessed by other synced VW vehicles. Read more…
